Windows 7 Tip: Change the launch directory to show...
Here is a very cool tip for Windows 7 users. By default, Windows Explorer in Windows 7 shows you the new and less useful libraries. If you want to change the launch directory back to the old good “all drives”, do the following steps:
Open the Windows Explorer Properties.
In the properties dialog box, change the target path to: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe...

Ubuntu Karmic Koala (9.10) Vostro 1510 Sound...
As I mentioned in the previous post, I regrettably upgraded my Ubuntu to 9.10 and then I managed to fix the touchpad problem. But a more serious problem is that it does not detect any sound device on my laptop any more :( I have tried to fix it and it has wasted hours of my time, but no luck. At the moment I hate Ubuntu for this messy release.
